Around March 8, we want to shine a light on female winemakers who take responsibility for their vineyards, make clear decisions, and leave their mark on wines. Women who don’t just accompany, but shape – from the vine to the glass.
Throughout March, we will be serving selected wines from female winemakers by the glass – new perspectives, glass by glass.
As an oenologist and co-owner, Nadine Besson-Strasser is the second generation to run the biodynamic family winery on the Rhine Falls. She stands for living soils, careful craftsmanship, and wines with an honest, authentic expression.
With a background in biotechnology and entrepreneurial clarity, Francisca Obrecht-Lustenberger shapes the Obrecht Winery. Her wines are distinctive, deeply rooted, and reflect the rhythm of nature and the vintage.
With over 20 years of experience in the wine industry, she combines scientific expertise with a passion for oenology. After exploring various wine regions, she joined La Mascaronne, where she contributes to the estate’s development by enhancing biodiversity and terroir. Her expertise, enriched by international experience, embodies the perfect fusion of tradition and innovation in the world of wine.
